Frequently Asked Questions

Volunteering is a great way to gain experience, meet new people, and give back to your community. Carrollwood Park Conservancy has a ton of exciting plans for the brand new Carrollwood Village Park, but we need your help to make it happen!

We have a variety of things that need to be done that use all sorts of skills! If you want to get out and get your hands dirty, maybe you would be interested in helping with the gardens. If you’re more technologically inclined, you could assist with research or data entry. Those are just a few examples of the very diverse needs we have!

Of course! As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we depend on the kindness and efforts of volunteers to succeed. We want to see you succeed too, so we’ll make sure that all of your paperwork is signed so you get credit for your contributions.

The minimum age to volunteer (without parental supervision) is 14 years old. There isn’t a maximum age.

If you’re eager to learn, you’ll learn quite a bit! We have volunteers and board members skilled in all sorts of things. If there’s a specific area of interest you have or a skill you want to develop along the way, let us know — we’ll help in any way that we can.
